So, we have narrowed down the name list for our little girl! (at least, we think ;)
Victoria is in the lead right now.
Other names are:
Cupcake
Duchess
Athena
Lambchop
Something to do with Panda- but I can't seem to find a famous panda character? ha!
That's pretty much where the list is at for the moment. I was kinda stuck on names until Victoria.
At first, I was looking for something ironic and matching Cujo.
But now that time has gone on, I really am leaning towards something more regal and Queen like. (for those of you who know me best, know I am a HUGE fan of the Tudor period and Queens in general).
Plus, the lady we are getting her from, says she is very sassy :)
This is what lead one of my friends to suggest Victoria.
I think I really like it?
What do you all think?!
Oh, and we got to go see her last night. Here she is just 2 days shy of one month.
Look at those blue eyes! Hoping they stay blue!

A new addition!
So, we have decided to grow our family by one! A beautiful girl Harlequin Great Dane! We got to meet her this past week at only one week old. We were both quite shocked at the size of this one week old puppy. We had to hold her with both hands and she was 3 pounds. She is gorgeous!
I have wanted one for SO LONG, and it's finally coming true!
-Diana
P.S. Cujo is very excited to have a "little" sister soon!
Here she is at 4 days old:

Carpool please!
Can you believe it's almost here?! I am so excited, and READY!
As a reminder- please carpool as much as possible due to limited parking space!
As for directions, I have been told that GPS gives wrong directions, so follow these:
-Take 75 south to exit 187, Forsyth (the second forsyth exit).
turn right.
-You will stay straight on HWY 42 for about 16 miles, property is on the left.
-(At about 15 miles, you will come to a stop sign at an intersection, stay straight. You will cross over a bridge. shortly after that, you will see mile marker #1 on your left. It is the first driveway on the left after that).
Don't worry, we will have signs ;)
The cell service is spotty down there- so call 478.974.0949 if you get lost (you shouldn't)
7054 Hwy 42 South
Culloden, GA 31016
From McDonough, it should take you about 45 minutes to an hour.

One Month!
Wow! It is SO amazing how these months have just flown by! We just came home from an AWESOME wedding for the new Mr. and Mrs. Menzel. It was quite lovely and not to mention A LOT of fun! Their wedding managed to get me super pumped for MY own wedding coming up very soon. We have been engaged for almost 9 months now, so the fact that we are less that a month away seems pretty surreal. It is neat to see all the little details finally come together and get nailed down. No longer just ideas floating in my brain for years and years ;) things are coming to fruit and that is SO exciting!
That being said, even though I have managed to complete a good bit of stuff ahead of time, there is still a laundry list of items to be complete. This wedding is 100% DIY, meaning the list is pretty never ending ;) If you have a free evening and want to help, hit me up! I would love the help!
I can't wait to see you all on the big day and for you all to see the fruits of all this labor! ;) ♥

Carnival Registry
We are so incredibly blessed beyond belief! We are very excited to say that we have booked our 2 nights, one day in Disney the Friday after the wedding, right before we leave for our cruise, due to an early wedding present that we are incredibly thankful for! Believe it or not, I have always wanted to be the ones in Disney wearing the bride and groom ears :)
Then we leave the next day on our 7 day Carnival Valor Cruise! We are going to have our dream honeymoon!
We discovered where you can register for your excursions on your honeymoon. What a fantastic idea! You can help us to have one amazing honeymoon :) Our Carnival registry can be found at www.tinyurl.com/diana-jeremy-honeymoon. (You will notice they are all in increments of $25. That is the lowest and we believe this will allow more freedom to give the amount you would like too, if you choose to). The only catch is that most money needs to be given in advance of the wedding- which is the reason that I decided to post it in our wedding blog. :)
We are super excited for our honeymoon, and we are truly blessed!! Thank you all so much for everything!

Calling all...
As you probably know, I am going for a vintage, eclectic wedding. Well, the good news about this, is that most items can be recycled and reused items, not to mention how eco-friendly it is! There are several items that I would love some help with:
* Jars & wine bottles. (think spaghetti, mayo, mason, etc). Please save all your jars and contact me, I will come get them! I need a TON of jars for a special project I want to do with lighting the trees!
* Chandeliers. Any chandelier will work. I have a couple that I am "revamping", so if they're that ugly bright gold chandelier that used to come standard in houses- that's fine! If you have one that you would be willing to "donate", just contact me :)
* Pillows. I am having a sitting area that I want pillows for. Don't worry how ugly they are, I plan on recovering them :) So if you have some old throw pillows you are willing to part with, that would be awesome!
* Tables. I really, really love this, and is SO me :)

I would love to be able to use old furniture in place of standard tables with table cloths! If you have one that you would be willing to let me borrow, I would be SO SO SO thankful :)
Feel free to call or, if you don't have my number (sorry, not gonna put it on the internet for creepers out there ;), email me at dianaknox@ymail.com
THANKS!!! <3

Gettin' the Hair Did
So, I need ideas and suggestions for my girls hair. I want messy updos. I think they are super sexy and they will go along nicely with everything I am doing with the wedding. (which, by the way, if you don't already know, I am doing a vintage- think 1400's- eclectic, whimsical, think "mid summer night's dream"- theme). I love these:
So, to all my hairdresser friends out there, thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? I also want to infuse different things into thier hair such as pearls, feathers, etc. Or use some sort of really neat hair accesories.
Hmmmmm.....

A place to stay.
Since the wedding is about an hour away from McDonough, I decided to set aside a block of rooms for our guest. I went with the Hilton Garden Inn in Macon/ Mercer University. I spoke with a couple hotels that are right off the exit that is the easiest to get to the wedding site. Unfortunately they were either completely unhelpful, wanted me to pay for all rooms upfront, or just down right rude. Plus, they were rated under two stars. *whomp, womp*
That led me to the Hilton. When I spoke with the Director of Sales at the Hilton, she was 100% helpful and within minutes everything was set up. This is perfect for all my family coming from the north side of Atlanta, all the way to a couple states up, or even all my friends in McDonough who don't want to make the trek home- since we will be having an evening wedding. The hotel is only about 30 minutes away from the wedding site ('bout as close as it gets!). You do have to book by Sept 10 to get the special rate. You can book online (how awesome is that?) or by calling.
Visit our webpage here for instructions.
Eeeeek! I can't believe how fast time is going by now!

I'm in love...
So, I was looking through different stores trying to figure out where to register. I feel in LOVE with several items at JC Penny! Amongst those things, a bed!
This was my favorite! (click to view on site)
This one was about 1/2 the price, and I still really like it.
And then there is this one, an antique white!
I have looked everywhere from craig's list to ebay and haven't found anything similar for as cheap as these actually are! I'm in love!
So, honeymoon or new bed ;) I tease! BUT Maybe Santa will bring me one? :)
Anyone have ideas where I can find a much cheaper version??

Not your ordinary love songs.
OK, so- I need some awesome music. But not just any awesome music. I need orchestra cover song music. Need an idea of what I'm talking about? Check this page out. They have a bunch of classic rock songs on there. I could tell you what exactly it's for in the wedding, but I think that would spoil the fun ;) So, your mission, should you choose to accept, is to find me some awesome stuff... and... GO!
9.25 can't come soon enough!
So, as things are getting closer (although that seems silly to say since we are still almost 7 months away from the big day), I decided that there are things I need help in making decisions on. I want to have most of my wedding planned out within the next month... may seem crazy, but I actually have about 75% planned! I mean, we have been together over 8 years- I have been mentally planning for a while now :) So, the fun details are next! Well, this is where you come in. I will be posting blogs asking for advice and ideas- feel free to post your thoughts! I love fresh ideas.
